Meet the Wine Maker!!!

Please join us on Monday, August 7th for a special winemaker's dinner.  We are very excited to welcome Jimena Lopez, the winemaker for Bodini & Graffito, two highly regarded boutique wineries in Mendoza, Argentina. This is a red wine lovers dream come true!  Chef Hector Ruiz will be preparing a 5-course menu to pair with these stunning wines. Seating is limited, reserve your spot today!

First Course

Scallop & Tuna Crudo with a grapefruit/honey drizzle, Palta mousse. 

Graffito Riesling, Mendoza, Argentina

Second Course

Chicken Empanada, braised spinach and leeks, sardo cheese, creme fraiche, roasted red pepper aioli.

Bodini Malbec & Bodini Cielo Rojo, Mendoza, Argentina 

Third Course

Grilled Flank Steak, Asparagus, Gorgonzola, Romain Wedge, Micro Arugula.

Graffito Cabernet Franc, Mendoza, Argentina

Fourth Course

Gnocchi with Braised Lamb, red onion, eggplant, sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes, chimichurri sauce, sardo cheese, toasted breadcrumbs.

Tartaleta de Chocolate with a dulce de leche smoked vanilla crema.

Join us for Chapter Two of Cencalli collaborations.

We are thrilled to announce Chef Diane Moua has accepted the invitation to prepare two delicious dishes for the event. Mike Hidalgo has also accepted the invitation and challenge of creating tempting and worldly beverages to compliment each and every course. We are also delighted to welcome back Chef Cesar Castaneda and Chef Jose Alarcon for this special Night in Minneapolis!

The menu will be posted Monday April 10th and we can not wait to share it with you.

Join us as we kick off the first “CENCALLI” event.

CENCALLI meaning familia or family in english is the perfect word to describe Hector Ruiz. From the birth of his children to the birth of his first restaurant, Hector has always been a “family man”. And he has continued to grow and nuture all that he loves and is passionate about. It is out of that love and passion that he created “CENCALLI”.

Hector will be showcasing chefs from Mexico and other Latin regions as well as Mixologists. All of whom he considers his brother/sister, friend, student, mentor, teacher and so much more.

In other words, his extended “family”.

We look forward to bringing you many more ~ talents, tastes and traditions….
